Many people are familiar with Improv - last year's Fringe Festival featured a long-form improvised show called "Is This Seat Taken?" by the iconic David Charles and Jay Hopkins. SAK has been doing a late-night show called "The Early Show" long after their regular programming on certain weekends for a number of years now. The Orlando Improv Festival is now trying to help long form become more visible with this event.
Orlando Improv Festival is bringing back the hit of ArtsFest 2011, A Night of Long Form, for one night only. This second incarnation of A Night of Long Form features three long form improv formats performed by two local improv groups (The Early Show and Offsides Improv), a special guest appearance by Orlando Sentinel writer Kelly Fitzpatrick, a formal question and answer period with all of the performers and beer, wine and liquor for purchase. NO LATE SEATING!
