Fringe Thinktank 01

The talkback you never get at the festival!

this is totally going on my podcast! Blogging Fringe podcast started almost 10 years ago when a kid with a microphone wanted to see the Fringe have more of an online presence, and he dragged the artists and patrons kicking and screaming. Then YouTube, Facebook and Twitter exploded and the reviewers, artists, patrons and freaks were all getting online! Now after a 5 year hiatus, Ryan is going back to the roots and interviewing touring artists who are passing through Orlando on their way to Canada, Edinburgh, Australia and the rest of the globe. Subscribe in iTunes or subscribe in your favorite podcast app to get weekly updates throughout the season!

Mark Baratelli of Improv Cabaret and Fransisco Laboy of the McGrawsky Files join Blogging Fringe's Ryan Price for a thinktank discussion about how future Fringes can be improved for patrons, producers and organizers alike.

[...] I don’t think MySpace

[...] I don’t think MySpace is going to be the only way for people to communicate like it was last year. Really, last year’s online discussion took place between performers and geeks and a few of their friends who were on MySpace. This year things will be MySpace heavy, but that website is so horrible I think lots of people who just want quick info will be turned off by it. Some of my thoughts on this are presented in the Fringe Thinktank 01 podcast. [...]

[...] Keeping exclusivity in

[...] Keeping exclusivity in mind, I won’t spoil it for you, but I will say this is something we discussed on our Fringe Thinktank Podcast that we never thought could happen. [...]
